50 Years of Settles Kinship
Born from a vision of solidarity in 1976, this Golden Jubilee symbolizes our strong African American roots and endurance. Every two years, we unite to honor our forebears, traveling through our seven zones to bridge the gap between youth and elders. This sacred ritual nourishes our collective spirit, ensuring the legacy of those before us remains a guiding light for every upcoming generation.
As we prepare for the 2027 Golden Anniversary Reunion in New Orleans during July 16–18, we welcome every relative to part-take in this 50-year quest. This event serves as our chance to strengthen our foundation and honor the vibrant energy that has marked the Settles identity for more than a century of family elegance.
